As I write this, it is 37 degrees in Sharps Chapel, TN and I am starting to plan day trips to get to know the area to supplement the wonderful hiking locally. I found a nice hiking website through Twitter called Natural Born Hikers that mentions a couple of Tennessee hiking trails that they have personally hiked and documented, giving tips for how we can make the most of our hike at the park. That’s how I found out about the Woodland Trail at Fall Creek Falls, that boasts the tallest waterfall in the eastern United States (256 feet) – right here in Tennessee only 3 hours away!
If you’ve hiked the trail, please leave comments about your experience.
